About Northwind
We sell certification to ISO management system standards, with support and training alongside. This page says who we are, how we relate to AQC Group, how we work, and what this site leaves out and why.
01Who we are
Who we are
Northwind Management Systems is the regional partner of AQC Group, based in Iraq. We work with organizations that need a certificate to an ISO management system standard because a client, a tender or a market has asked for one.
We do three things:
- Certification: audits of your management system against the standard. AQC Group makes the decision and issues the certificate.
- Implementation and documentation support: help building the system before the audit, kept separate from it.
- Training: awareness sessions, internal auditor training and sessions for top management.

The certificate comes from AQC Group
AQC Group is a certification and compliance organization with presence in the UAE, Canada, Egypt and India. It is accredited by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) and the United Accreditation Foundation (UAF).
You deal with Northwind for enquiries, quotations and scheduling. The certificate is issued by AQC Group and carries its name, and AQC Group makes the certification decision.

How we work
Explained before you spend
We tell you what the standard asks of you before you spend anything. A consultation is free, and every standard on this site has a page that says what it asks, in plain terms.
No promises about the outcome
We do not promise a certificate. The result of an audit cannot be known in advance, and the certification decision is made independently by AQC Group.
Support and audit kept apart
Support is done by different people from the audit. It gives no advantage in the audit and no guarantee of the result. The impartiality page sets out how.
Plain language
We write in plain language and in our own words, not the standard's. The standard itself is the authority, and you will need a copy.
Your information stays with us
What you tell us stays with us and with AQC Group. The privacy page says what this site collects.

What you will not find on this site, and why
No client list or testimonials
We do not publish a client's name without permission, so there is no list of clients and there are no testimonials.
No prices
Audit time depends on your size and scope, so a price on this page would be wrong for most readers. Ask for a quotation.
No counts of certificates
We do not publish a count of certificates. A reader cannot check a count, but can check a certificate, and the verify a certificate page shows how.
