Training

We train the people who work within a management system and the people who audit it. Courses are agreed with you, held at your premises or remotely, and use your own procedures and records as examples where possible.

01Who it is for

Who it is for

Organizations that have the people but not yet the skill.

  • Managers and staff who will work within a management system and need to know what the standard asks of them
  • The people who will audit your system from the inside
  • Top management, whom the standards name directly
  • Specialists in one standard, such as food safety, information security or energy, who need its detail

02Courses

The kinds of course

Described in general terms. Content and length are agreed with you.

Awareness sessions

For everyone who works within the system. They explain what the standard asks of the organization, why it asks it, and what each person's own part is.

Internal auditor training

For the people who will audit your own system. It covers planning an audit, asking questions, writing findings and following them up. The standards require internal audit, and an auditor should not audit their own work.

Sessions for top management

For the people who lead the organization. They cover what the standard asks of top management, which is more than approving a policy: taking part in the system and reviewing its results. An auditor interviews top management.

04Delivery

How it is delivered

Training is held at your premises or remotely, as you prefer. Tell us which when you ask.

We use your own procedures and records as the examples wherever we can. People then work with documents they will use, and with cases they recognize, instead of cases invented for the course.

05Limits

What it does not include

No dates or prices

Content, length and dates are agreed when you ask, because they depend on who attends and what they need. For the same reason there is no price list.

No claim of accreditation or qualification

We make no claim that any course is accredited or leads to a recognized qualification. If you need one, for example for a particular job or tender, tell us what is required and we will say what we can and cannot offer.

Lead auditor courses

We do not list one. If you need a lead auditor course, ask us whether AQC Group runs one. Internal auditor training prepares people to audit your own system, and we make no claim that it qualifies anyone to audit other organizations.

No advantage in the audit

Attending training gives no advantage in a certification audit. The auditor looks at whether your people are competent for their work, however they learned it, and the decision is made independently by AQC Group.

How training, support and audit are kept apart

Tell us who needs training.

Say how many people, which standard and what they need to be able to do. We will say what we can offer and agree the content with you.
